Steve Kilpatrick’s homes are not only defined by his love and understanding of the North Carolina Mountains, but also by the personal relationship that he forms with each of his customers. “I enjoy building relationships with my clients as much as I enjoy building their homes,” Kilpatrick says. As a lifetime resident of the Hendersonville area, Kilpatrick, owner of Kilpatrick & Company LLC, knows the region thoroughly and uses this knowledge to incorporate the natural beauty of each building site with the homeowner’s desire to create their mountain masterpiece.

Kilpatrick’s interest in home building began early, watching his father build homes as a hobby in the Hendersonville area. A few years after graduating from Clemson University, Steve decided to pursue his dream of building homes and earned his Contractor’s license. He now has over 20 years of experience in the residential building industry. By using only the finest mountain craftsmen and employing his ability to communicate homeowners’ personal wishes, Kilpatrick is able to produce a home that not only exceeds his clients’ desires but also fits into the natural mountain environment.

In recent years, Steve’s wife, Kara, has joined him in the day-to-day running of the company. Kara brings a different perspective to the building process which further enhances the ability to exceed his clients’ expectations to build a home they can enjoy for a lifetime. The Kilpatrick family resides in Hendersonville, where they are raising their two daughters, Kathryn and Lucy.
